This is a beta stack (version 0.9) being used as a prototype for an application which we will be writing soon.  I would appreciate all input on this system.  Please E-Mail to either DarrylW4 (on AOL) or darrylw4@aol.com (from the InterNet).  This stack is not protected so that people can hack around the scripts.  If you make changes however, I would like to see your work.

  8. Macintosh which could run this stack in the background
  9. HyperCard 2.0 or better
  10. Almost any AT compatible modem (in the modem port)
  11. An available line with touch-tone dialing
  12. Numeric pager(s)

  14. DESCRIPTION:

  16. This stack allows the user to set-up auto pages.  These "alarms" could dial any number and send any message. These alarms are activated by at a certain time by either day (S,M,T,W,T,F,S) or a date.
  17. NEW for 0.9!  There is now wait options which should help those with voice mail, longer tones, or any other factors in the wait between dialing and sending the page.
  18. (We also hid a couple of Easter Eggs in there for those who like to search.)

  22. There is basic help in the stack (new in version 0.4).  And for those of you who don’t like reading things  on screen I added a print feature (new in version 0.6).  If there are any questions or help issues, contact me by voice, fax or E-mail.

This will most likely be the final beta before golden.  I’ll be starting work on version 2.0 as soon as version 1.0 is complete.  If you would like to continue receiving beta version of the stack, E-Mail or fax me.  Anyone who has already responded will automatically be on the next beta program, thanks.  Version 2.0 should be at least twice as good as the first, so E-mail me soon.
